Gucci becomes “Guccy” For S/S 2018
During the show S/S 2018 it was spotted the word “Guccy” which is not a spelling mistake but the medieval spelling of the brand, and a riff on the knock-offs that are no doubt sold all over the world.
According to the brand, the font was inspired by that of the Sega video game console.
Distinguished by a tiger head closure which first appeared on accessories in the 70s, for the new collection the #GucciDionysus shoulder bag features the Guccy print in @SEGA’s logo font as seen in an artwork by artist @ignasimonreal.
